Overview:
- Primarily used as a vehicle program, the EDGE facility include a full suite including HVAC, Electrical, and Tel/Data to name a few.
- A 95,000 sq/ft electronics lab rounded out the program.
EDGE Facility: This was a single-story renovation of 9,000 sq/ft of an existing building on the campus to function as R&D space for their military vehicle program. The new programming included offices, testing labs, a showcase/presentation bay and a working bay. HVAC scope included removal and replacement of all gas fired roof top units, duct work and controls. Electrical systems were upgraded as required. New security, tel-data and audio visual systems were added. Plumbing systems underwent major renovations to support a vehicle modification facility. New under slab drainage systems and gasoline/oil interceptors were added. Fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems were modified to suit.
Electronics Lab: General Dynamics occupied existing building and used it primarily as electronics laboratory. The building consisted of approximately 95,000 sq/ft of floor space.
