Edwin Kotak, Jr., P.E. - Principal

Ed joined R.W. Sullivan Engineering in 1992 as a Senior Fire Protection Engineer with 22 years of experience in the fire protection discipline.  Ed’s career started in 1970 and includes 8 years as District Design Manager for the Boston office of a national Fire Protection contracting firm.  As design manager Ed was in direct charge of fire sprinkler and standpipe design and installation for some of the largest projects in the Boston area. Ed is now involved in the design of all major projects and many special use structures that require unique fire suppression system designs.  Ed has extensive experience with design, installation, and testing of many types of fire suppression systems.  He is also a member of the National Fire Protection Association Technical Committee on Standpipes.
