Boston, Massachusetts

RWS is pleased to announce the completion of Phase I of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital involving renovations to approximately 27,000 square feet of the 3rd floor of the Amory Building, Department of Pathology.  The renovation created the main pathology lab for the hospital with support and office space. This project is one of many in the industry that keeps the Boston Medical Area on the top of the medical world with its constant research, improvements and innovation.

The project consists of providing new sanitary and laboratory drain, waste, vent, potable and non potable water systems to serve new state of the art equipment. This project, as with all large projects, proved to be a challenge to complete on time; but with the hard work of Suffolk Construction, American Plumbing and Heating and Classis Fire Protection, this space was able to be turned over to very enthusiastic users on time. This $5 million project was completed in July 2011.
