Wentworth Graduates at R.W. Sullivan

Most consider Boston to be a “Big City” yet the Boston engineering industry can be viewed as a “Small World”. Many of the Engineers in the Boston area have graduated from a handful of local colleges including the Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT).

From 2011-2012 R.W. Sullivan was hired by WIT to be the MEP engineering firm for the renovations and addition to the existing Ira Allen Science Building. R.W. Sullivan employs many WIT graduates with various backgrounds including P/FP Engineer David Lee who has been with the firm since graduating in 1996. As well as recent 2011 Electronic Engineering Technology graduate Theodhor Dyshniku. Theo, who recalls going to class in the Ira Allen building just last year, assisted the lead electrical engineer during the construction process of Ira Allen, immediately upon starting at R.W. Sullivan. R.W. Sullivan’s own president Paul Sullivan served as an adjunct professor from 2002-2003.

For a big city, it’s inspiring to see the engineering industry serve the community, providing education that is returned in the form of engineering design and ultimately the construction of facilities for future generations of aspiring engineers.
