Massachusetts traditionally amends the fire-protection requirements of the national model code, and the 8th edition is no different.  Ed Kotak, P.E. and Michael Trickett, P.E. from RWS will lead a workshop for the Boston Society of Architects on August 2, from 8:00 to 10:00 am at The Architects Building. This seminar will cover the new format and requirements of Chapter 9, with an emphasis on how Massachusetts departs from national standards. Please see the BSA website for more information.
