Edwin A. Kotak, Jr., P.E.

Ed joined R.W. Sullivan Engineering in 1992 as a member of our Fire Protection team.  As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer, Ed is involved in the design of all major projects and any special use structures that require unique suppression system designs.  Ed has been involved in the fire suppression industry since 1972 and has experience with the design, installation, and testing of many types of fire suppression systems.  He is currently a member of the National Fire Protection Association Technical Committee on Standpipes.  Ed’s most honorable experience to date is the forensic review of the fire sprinkler and standpipe systems existing in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 to determine code compliance and reliability.
