Associate Principal

Vernon is a registered architect and certified building official with 25 years of experience.  He joined R.W. Sullivan Engineering in 1999 in addition to serving as Chair of the Boston Society of Architects’ Codes Committee since 2000.  He is also a LEED Accredited Professional and administers the in-house “Green Team” at RWS, focusing on issues of sustainability in design and construction.  Vernon has been published in Remodeling Now, ArchitectureBoston and the ICC Building Safety Journal, and has recently completed work as a representative of the AIA on the ICC’s Sustainable Buildings Technology Council, charged with developing the new International green Construction Code.
